Instructor Nicole Padilla will be teaching new Salsa classes in San Pedro…starting Friday January 8th, 2010 at 8pm. The classes will be held in a brand new studio on 6th Street. Classes will continue at the location every Friday thereafter and possibly on Thursdays as well in the future.

Nicole will be teaching a beginning/intermediate combo. After the class all students are invited to stay afterward for a Salsa dance party! The cost is $10 per class.

Nicole encourages students to bring their friends and help spread the word! The more people who participate in the class, the more opportunities for a great dance party afterward. This new class/dance party series will offer South Bay salseros an opportunity to learn, practice and socialize.

SalsaSouthBay.com has just learned of new dance classes being offered in South Gate, CA. We are among the firsts to know about these exciting new classes and we want to make sure to pass this info along to our readers. The classes are being taught by local instructor Lily Nunez, who is also listed on our instructor’s page.

Want to learn the basic steps to dancing Salsa so you can show off to your friends? Then this is the class for you! Bring a partner or come alone to make friends and learn all the salsa moves you need to know to dance with confidence and style.

9 Week Beginners Salsa Dance Class: $40 residents/$50 Non-residents

For the more advance dancer, the intermediate class will teach you the intermediate salsa steps to later incorporate into fun and exhilarating dance combinations, or simple dance combinations to show off at L.A.’s salsa clubs. Students have an opportunity to socialize and make new friends. No partner needed but preferred.

DJ Karloz will be celebrating his birthday at Sevilla Night Club in Long Beach, January 6th 2010. Yikes 2010!! He’s hoping all South Bay Salseros will come out and share a birthday dance with him.
